If the people
ask to me to decide for one beach, of any particular beach in the all world I will
choose the “Los Molles” beach, here in Chile, here in south America.
The beach
is located near the north regional limit of the Valparaiso region (or V region
before the 2006), at the south of Pichidangui, and at the north of Pichicuy. Particularly
Pichicuy is a fishing village and a really special grown place for my dad.
For my
case, Los Molles do the same function to me, because I grow up there (and I still
doing that) since I have 2 weeks of life.
Mt family have
two houses there, one build by my grandfather (of my mom) and another bought by my parents when they returned to Chile in
the late Eighties. The second house has been a particular space to me in my
early stages.
Since I was
a kid I do some many things there like walk on the town or like to play in the
beach (and swim on it too), also the place have an special sector called “reserva
el púquen”. The place is a national reserve who haves many special natural attractions
like “las piscinas” which are natural formed pools of stone who have sea water
(refilled during the full moon night periods)… or the “púquen”. This place is a
special formation in the world. A Tube connected to the sea located in a cliff…
when the sea comes into the tube, they get out like a spray in the top of them (in
the top of the cliff).
I like the
place because I lived an important part of my childhood there, and I related
that place to a special connection with my family. I don’t have to say again
why I like the place no? I think that I said that.
I really like Los Molles although I've only been there once or twice.
