Hello, for this day I will comment a photo that inspires me.
The photo has been taken by a friend of the mountaineering club of the University of Chile; he is a geographer too… Well I am not a geographer but I hope to be someday.

My friend’s name is Rodrigo Espina and the photo is from a section of the “Diente Del Diablo” mountain in the Maipo’s valley and was taken this year a few months ago. The photo shows a high steep slope full covered of a special ice formation called “penitentes”. The penitentes are a strange formation similar to the stalactmites (but are full formed of ice).
The photo represents for me a special sensation that is hard to describe. It’s similar to feel a weird combination of vertigo and an infinite respect to the life (and the mountain too).
Also the photo gives me a hope for the future (for the reason please read my 2nd post on this blog) because I really would like to be here, or on a similar place that gives me back close to the environment.
I've never imagined that it would be in the district where we live! It's a beautiful picture!
